I only have a litter every couple of years, so every litter is very special to us!
About The Litters
All litters are planned well in advance. Every step is taken to ensure ( to the best of my ability ) that the puppies will have a promising future, including genetic testing, socialization, proper diet,vet care, and age appropriate training.
Puppies are sold under contract and include a health guarantee. Proof of genetic testing from both parents is included (Thyroid,SA -skin disease,VWD- bleeding disorder,CERF- eyes, NE,OFA - hips , blood panel) along with pedigrees and verification of Championships.All puppies are health certified by a vet before leaving for their new home.A copy of all of their vaccinations, and a schedule of their future vaccinations will be supplied.Each Lauris puppy leaves micro chipped, fully groomed,lead broken,well socialized,crate trained, introduced to potty training, and fully vaccinated according to age.A "Lauris Standard Poodle" book is given to each new family, that includes photos of both parents,pedigrees and health certificates of the parents and the puppy,additional "family" photos,pictures of all the puppies in the litter,the puppies' pedigree and health information. Very extensive information on health, training,diet,history, and conformation is also included.A copy of "How to Raise a Puppy You Can live With" goes to every new family.Each puppy also goes home with a collar, leash,slicker brush,a well chewed toy from their first home,and a beginning supply of quality food and feeding/sleeping schedule.Each puppy not only is socialized in the home, but as of 6 weeks of age they travel to work with me every day.There they have the run of a very busy grooming shop.They meet many wonderful puppy lovers, and are introduced to a very active day.This helps prepare them for the "real world".Last but not least, every Lauris puppy leaves loved...and missed!!
